City of Hope is a leader in the field of hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) as one of the world's largest and most successful transplant centers having completed our 10,000th transplant in 2011. The types and volumes of stem cell and marrow transplants done at City of Hope are summarized in the charts below.

Based on the National Marrow Donor Program annual report of center-specific survival outcomes, City of Hope is the only transplant program in the country to achieve five consecutive years of above-average survival outcome. City of Hope has received the organization’s “above expectations” rating in one-year overall patient survivorship for the past five years.
