Amy Goldman
As Vice President, Amy Goldman oversees all the activities of City of Hope’s Gift Planning, Donor Stewardship and Development Research departments. She has been at City of Hope since 1994, and was named Vice President of Gift Planning in 2000. Her professional background is in planned giving. Amy has a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and a Masters Degree in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Judaism. A lifelong resident of California, Amy enjoys hiking and spending time with her family. |

Stephanie Hsieh
Stephanie left the field of estate planning, business and tax law in 2006 to pursue her passion of non-profit work. She joined City of Hope as a Senior Gift Planning Officer in 2009, after three years with Providence Health & Services in the San Fernando Valley. Stephanie received her bachelor’s degree in economics and minor in Asian American studies from UC Berkeley and received her juris doctorate degree from USC School of Law. She is actively involved with Partnership for Philanthropic Planning of Greater Los Angeles (PPP-LA), serving as the 2008 Secretary and 2009 Conference Co-Chair. Stephanie lives in Pasadena with her husband, daughter, dog and two cats. She enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Rick Leonard
A lifelong resident of the Los Angeles area, Rick Leonard has been a member of the Gift Planning staff at City of Hope since 1999. He received his bachelor's degree in Economics from UCLA and a Masters in Business from USC. Prior to joining City of Hope, he worked for over two decades in publishing and printing. Rick is the primary liaison to City of Hope's Urology and Cancer Immunotherapeutics departments. He also works closely with Robert Figlin, M.D., F.A.C.P., Chair, Medical Oncology & Therapeutics Research, to raise funds for oncology programs. Rick has a passion for playing and collecting guitars, and lives in Los Angeles with his wife, three daughters and dog. |

Joe Komsky
Joe Komsky came to City of Hope from the Los Angeles Conservancy, and also spent three years as Director of Development in the national office of the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Association. Joe has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He looks forward to meeting City of Hope supporters all across the country. Joe lives with his wife and daughter in Van Nuys, and he is a dedicated fan of the Dodgers and Kings. |

Jay O’Neal
Jay O’Neal has over 25 years of experience in the fields of estate planning and charitable giving. Prior to joining City of Hope in 1990, Jay obtained his bachelors degree from California State University, Long Beach and worked at Security Pacific Bank. He is the primary gift planning liaison to City of Hope’s offices in San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Phoenix and Florida. Jay is a lifelong California resident, is married with a daughter, and enjoys sports and trivia. |

Sherrie Vamos
Sherrie Vamos, the administrator of City of Hope’s Grateful Patient fundraising program, has been with City of Hope since 1996. She is the liaison to the women’s cancer programs (breast cancer, gynecological cancers.) Sherrie spent 12 years in financial services before transitioning to fundraising. She enjoys working with donors from across the country to help them determine the best gift arrangement to suit their financial and philanthropic goals. Sherrie’s chief hobby is her teenage son. |

Sandee Zschomler
Sandee Zschomler’s primary focus is to raise funds for City of Hope’s programs in Developmental Cancer Therapeutics, Lung Cancer & Thoracic Oncology and Pediatrics. She also helps coordinate major and planned gifts for the Desert Communities and the Inland Empire, as well as City of Hope’s Philadelphia office. Sandee has a bachelor’s degree from Bethany University and a Masters Degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix. A 15-year resident of the Inland Empire, Sandee has been at City of Hope since 1998. She is married with three daughters, one son-in-law and two grandchildren. Sandee enjoys singing, nature walks and watching old movies with her family.
