Led by a group of dedicated industry and community leaders, the Los Angeles Real Estate (LARE) Council shares a commitment to provide financial support for the innovative research, treatment and education programs at City of Hope.
City of Hope is an extraordinary, world-renowned health care and clinical and basic research institution located in suburban Los Angeles. City of Hope has over 100 full-time and over 150 part-time MDs, 100 full-time PhDs and over 100 additional scientists involved in the treatment and basic and clinical research in catastrophic disease areas of cancer, AIDS, diabetes, immunology and related fields.
Currently, the LARE Council includes 60 of the top professionals in banking, insurance, development, law, accounting, management and investment in the real estate sector. We meet regularly to network and to plan fundraising events for City of Hope. Our events include our annual
Spirit of Life dinner at which 1,000 real estate luminaries gather in November to honor the industry’s top philanthropists.
City of Hope is recruiting additional members for the LARE Council. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Beth Ida Stern, Senior Director of Development, at 626-560-9432 or
