The chapter movement launched the beginning of City of Hope nearly a century ago when individuals joined forces to bring care and compassion to people suffering from disease.
Almost 100 years later, our chapters — groups of individual volunteers who raise money that directly supports our mission to save lives — remain the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts.
From organizing galas and fashion shows, to participating in national events such as our national Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer, chapters raise millions of dollars annually to advance City of Hope’s innovative cancer research, treatment and education programs.
