 K-12 Program

Since 1992, City of Hope has been the recipient of K-12 Clinical Oncology Career Development Awards to train academic oncologists in a variety of multidisciplinary fields for clinical translation.  Several fellows at City of Hope have had the honor of continuing their fellowship research projects with the support of the K-12 grant.

City of Hope is proud to be one of only two centers that have offered the K-12 program since its inception in 1982. Through an intensive curriculum in both basic science and clinical research, participants develop the skills necessary to fulfill the demanding role of a physician and scientist.
