Biography

Dr. Moore-Jeffries attended college at the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He received a Bachelors of Science degree in Animal Science. His medical school education was at the University of Southern California. Dr. Moore-Jeffries completed an internship in Internal Medicine and his residency program in anesthesiology at the LAC-USC Medical Center.

Following residency Dr. Moore-Jeffries remained ten years at the USC School of Medicine, teaching the art of anesthesiology to resident physicians. He served as the director of trauma anesthesia for LAC-USC Medical Center and the director of Cardio-thoracic anesthesia at both LAC-USC Medical Center and USC University Hospital. He also served as the director of the medical student rotation in anesthesiology for the USC School of Medicine. Dr. Moore-Jeffries spent two and one-half years practicing cardio-thoracic anesthesia at St. Vincent Medical Center, St. Joseph Medical Center and Holy Cross Medical Center prior to arriving at the City of Hope. He is board certified in anesthesiology and is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiology and the California Society of Anesthesiology.
