Deborah MacDonald, Ph.D., R.N., A.P.N.G. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Population Sciences. She is an expert in cancer risk genetic counseling and is credentialed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Genetics. Dr. MacDonald was president of the International Society of Nurses in Genetics, Inc. (1999), and a founding member of the Oncology Nursing Society and the National Society of Genetic Counselors Cancer Genetics Special Interest Groups. Dr. MacDonald is nationally recognized for her numerous presentations, publications, and committee work related to cancer genetics.
