Biography

Eugene L. Bak, M.D. attended Pomona College (Claremont, CA) and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience.

After a one-year research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (Bethesda, MD), he obtained his medical education and medical degree from Tufts University (Boston, MA). 
He served as a transitional year resident at New York Hospital Queens (Flushing, NY) which is affiliated with Weill Medical College of Cornell University.  After completing his formal training in anesthesiology at UC Irvine Medical Center (Orange, CA), he joined the Department of Anesthesiology at City of Hope.
