 Stem Cell Therapy: Building on the Promise

 Targeted Therapeutics: Attacking Disease on the Molecular Level

(April 2006 - 4 minutes, 19 seconds)

By investigating the mechanisms that activate or inhibit respective genes, researchers are developing “designer” drugs to target specific disease-causing molecules. These drugs may lead to new treatments for diabetes and metabolic diseases.  Featured scientists include Drs. Barry Forman, Rama Natarajan and Yanhong Shih.
