Kent Aden, left, executive vice president of The Otay Ranch Company, and U.S. Navy Captain Jim DiMatteo join former City of Hope patient speaker Marshall Cotta on the flight deck of the U.S.S. Midway in San Diego. Aden and DiMatteo were presented The Spirit of Life® Award from City of Hope’s San Diego Construction Industries Alliance at the “Salute to Hope” gala held June 21 aboard the historic aircraft carrier.
More than 250 guests enjoyed a cocktail reception, dinner and entertainment aboard the historic landmark. The gala raised $200,000 for City of Hope.
