Department of Pathology
The Department of Pathology at City of Hope provides professional consultations and diagnostic laboratory services for our patients. Within these high-quality laboratories, City of Hope's scientists provide responsive diagnostic support through surgical pathology, immunohistochemistry, hematopathology/flow cytometry, molecular pathology, cytogenetics, cytology and breast cancer profiles.

Blood Donor Center (Michael Amini Transfusion Medicine Center)
Blood Donor Center staff work together to gather and process the thousands of necessary blood and platelet units required each year by City of Hope's patients. City of Hope offers a variety of positions for donor technicians, nurses, phlebotomists, medical technologists and telerecruiters.

City of Hope’s Clinical Nutrition Services staff, which includes registered dietitians and dietetic technicians, provides patients and their families with education that encompasses how to meet nutritional requirements and manage eating difficulties.
